Forward

When I was a kid the only two most common words I knew in the new world of electronic was on and off. I still don’t know much about the latest technology or any sophisticated equipments, but from a young age, it caught my attention several words like Delete, Pause, insert and “forward”.  I have taken this last little word and said it to myself so many times in my life. It does not matter how sad, joyful or frightened I may be. This is the best advice I have given myself is “forward always forward”. Because sometimes life is like that big and heavy video camera we used to have, you can pause it or deleted you just have to go “Forward”.

Labor Day

The Very First Labor Day September 5, 1882 

The very first Labor Day was held on a Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City. The day was celebrated with a picnic, concert and speeches. Ten thousand workers marched in a parade from City Hall to Union Square.

 Today we proudly join with millions of Americans in paying tribute to the contributions of American workers, union and non-union. The American worker is the backbone of our nation, and we should be focusing this Labor Day on getting more of them back to work.

Dia de la Mujer

Si bien es cierto que en la actualidad, en los países desarrollados, la mujer disfruta de un presente y un futuro en aparente igualdad con el hombre.
La mujer nunca lo ha tenido fácil y cada paso adelante ha costado las lágrimas y la sangre de muchas mujeres destacadas y otras anónimas a lo largo de la historia que luchaban por un horizonte que hoy damos por hecho y que no valoramos en su justa medida. Gracias a esas valientes mujeres por ” El derecho al voto”, “El derecho a la ocupación de cargos públicos”,” El derecho a la formación professional”,” El derecho al trabajo y a la no discriminación por ser mujer”.

Mi manzanita, mi hijo querido te ame desde que estaba en mi vientre, desde niño todos me decían ese niño tiene un ángel muy especial. Cuando naciste estrenamos el hospital tu y yo, eras el único bebe, así que imagínate las atenciones que tenias, tu hermanito estaba loco por llevarte a la casa y tu papa también, yo tranquila porque desde el momento que vi tu hermosa carita sabia que nuca me separaría de ti.

Desde niño fuiste introvertido y observador tu naciste para ser un gran espectador, nuca quiere ser el centro de atracción, pero lamentablemente todos están atento a tus comentarios y observaciones, eres de pocas palabras, pero cuando hablabas la tierra tiembla.

Te has convertido en un hombre trabajador, leal a tus convicciones, leal a tu familia y amigos, eres bondadoso con los demás, sabes perdonar y pedir perdón que es algo muy difícil.

Eres mi amigo, mi hombro, eres mi manzanita, eres orgullosamente mi hijo.

Our baby

I don't yet have a name.
Not yet can you hold my tiny hands,

Por ti conocí la dicha esa primera emoción, de ser  madre, fue la experiencia más grande .Y  me hizo sentir la mujer más feliz del mundo.

Y aunque yo era muy joven te cuidé con devoción. Por ti yo crecí de golpe, por ti comencé a soñar en convertirte en un gran hombre.

Desde niño fuiste tan especial, tan maduro  para tu edad, las persona me decían” Que formal es ese niño”,  y yo me llenaba de orgullo. Yo sabía que Dios me había mandado un niño hermoso no solo físicamente.

Hoy por hoy eres mi amigo, mi consejero pero lo más importante eres mi hijo que se ha transformado en un gran hombre.

Tú eres un bendecido, un escogido de Dios, y al ser tu madre recibo 
también esa bendición. Te amo JM
